WHO WE ARE
[rooted] is a healing hub that focuses on holistic wellness. We provide a variety of experiences to our members in order to stimulate their bodies, minds, and creativity. These experiences encompass fitness, gardening, nutrition, art, and both physical and mental health.
The core philosophy of [rooted] is to connect the mind, body, and spirit, emphasizing the importance of a well-rounded approach to well-being. By offering a range of activities such as gardening, yoga, stretching, learning, and relaxation, [rooted] aims to support individuals in their personal growth and healing journeys.
We believe that progress, rather than perfection, is the key to individual development. [rooted] provides a nurturing community where members can explore various aspects of their lives and find a sense of belonging.
OUR FOUNDERS

Reonna Johnson is VP / Director of Strategic Growth at Deutsch LA. She works with executive leadership on prospecting strategies to attract and acquire new business.In addition to driving new business, Johnson strives to create inclusive cultures in the advertising industry for people of color. In 2018, Johnson co-founded Three’s a Crowd, a community of Los Angeles-based Black creative professionals to build space, influence, and tangible change within the creative industry. The organization developed IN FOR 13, a pledge designed to stomp out systemic racism and create equity in the advertising industry by raising the percentage of Black representation in leadership positions to 13% by 2023, and Hex Code Black, a new podcast featuring raw and honest conversations with Black professionals at the intersection of race, culture and creativity.
A Los Angeles native, Johnson graduated from California State University, Los Angeles. She has earned numerous accolades, including Adweek’s Women Trailblazers and Campaign US Female Frontier honors.

Anthony Freeman has worn many hats throughout his 30-year career. An established athlete, he became an award-winning road cyclist and Hall of Fame BMX racer at an early age. He has also starred in international commercial and print campaigns for brands such as Nike, Gatorade, Disney and United Airlines – just to name a few.Anthony has dedicated his life’s work to coaching and training. He guides his clients to accomplish their goals – whether those be fitness, business, or academic. Incorporating a holistic training philosophy drawing on psychology, kinesiology, and physiology, he assists clients in achieving optimal agility and resilience, improving outcomes in all areas of life. His curriculum is personal to each client’s unique experience and life journey, and will leave a lasting impact on their endeavors.
He’s invested in his hometown of Inglewood, CA. Anthony has created a unique experience that supports underserved communities through custom educational programming for fitness, health, and wellness.
