FITNESS
ASSESSMENT
Start your fitness journey with a one-on-one assessment designed to understand your goals, fitness level, mobility, strength, and health history—so we can build the right plan for you.
WHAT IS A
FITNESS ASSESSMENT?
A fitness assessment is a one-on-one session designed to understand where you are today so we can build the right fitness plan for you.
At Rooted, we don't focus on body fat percentages, measurements, or unrealistic fitness standards. Instead, you'll move through a modified fitness circuit while meeting with a coach to discuss your fitness goals, athletic background, health history, and any injuries or limitations.
During the assessment, we observe how your body moves, including your range of motion, technique, speed, balance, strength, and breathing patterns.
Our goal is simple: understand your starting point, see how you fit into our group circuit setting, and create a personalized plan that helps you move better, feel stronger, and build a healthier lifestyle based on your age, health, and body type.

WHAT ARE
PEOPLE SAYING
“I came to Rooted after a rough patch and had lost a lot of muscle. I couldn’t do a single pull-up—now I can do them on my own. I’m so much stronger. Every 4 a.m. wake-up has been worth it.”
— 59 years old, local entrepreneur, View Park, CA
“I’m steadier on my feet, my posture is better, my range of motion is back and I’m overall stronger—I can even open jars now. I even have a gym in my own building, but I never used it because I don’t know what to do. Coach Freeman tells me exactly how to move, safely and effectively. I leave feeling stronger and I notice it at home and at work. This is my standing appointment—for me.”
— 78, longtime Inglewood business developer, Century City, CA
